At Wajir Power Women, we believe that when a woman earns, her whole family and community rise with her. Across Wajir County, women are the backbone of household life and the local economy, yet too many are locked out of credit, markets and business skills.
Through our women’s economic empowerment work, we bring women together in savings and lending groups, deliver practical business and financial-literacy training, and link members to markets for their goods. A small, well-managed savings group can become the seed for a shop, a livestock trade, or a girl’s school fees paid on time.
Economic power is more than income. It is a woman’s voice in her home, her confidence in a meeting, and her ability to make choices about her own future. That is the change we are building, one group at a time.
