Good health is the foundation of a woman’s ability to work, learn and lead. In Wajir’s arid landscape, distance to services and limited awareness mean women and girls too often go without the care and information they need.
Our health and dignity programme brings reproductive and maternal-health awareness closer to women, promotes safe practices, and creates safe spaces where women can speak openly about their wellbeing. We also stand firmly against gender-based violence and harmful practices, working with communities to protect the rights and dignity of every woman and girl.
When women are healthy and safe, families thrive and whole communities move forward. That is the future Wajir Power Women works towards, every day.
